Root canal treatment is necessary to save a tooth that cannot be treated with other methods due to deep decay (caries), an infection in the root canal or dental trauma.
This procedure avoids tooth extraction, prevents pain and infection, restores the function of the tooth and prevents the infection from spreading to neighbouring teeth and tissue.
We remove the diseased tissue from the inside of the tooth and clean as well as seal the root canals tightly with a special filling material. The treatment usually takes several sessions. We draw up an individual treatment plan to achieve optimum results and minimise possible complications.
